What is foam roofing?
Also known as spray-foam roofing, or SPF roofing, foam roofing is an energy-efficient, durable, long-lasting roofing material used for both residential and commercial roofing projects.
Foam roofs are built out of multiple layers. First, polyurethane foam is sprayed onto the roof surface. This foam forms an insulating layer that helps slow the heat transfer process—this is what makes foam roofs so energy-efficient!
Next, an elastomeric coating layer is applied. This foam roof coating shields it from the elements and protects the entire roof from sun, wind, and water damage.
